1. How will the rate be determined?

The bank will provide the exchange rate prevalent at the time of effecting the payment.

2. Do I need to be an account holder to make an outward remittance?

Only account holders will be allowed to make outward remittances.

3. In which currencies can we effect a TT remittance?

USD, GBP, EUR, AUD, JPY, SGD, CAD, CHF, HKD, NZD, INR, SEK, DKK, CNY, NOK, AED and SAR. Further, you may contact any branch to effect a payment in any other currency (i.e. MYR etc.)

4. What are the documents required for a TT ?

  • Duly completed TT Application with valid signature – based on your account ( if business account – please ensure to place the seal)
  • Ensure all supporting documents required are attached
  • Form 1

Kindly note: the application will be scrutinized to meet Foreign Exchange requirements, therefore, additional time will be taken for processing any application with any deviations from the eligibility criteria.
